Christmas Party:
This is our last meeting of the year. We will have plenty of playing. But also if you could bring something of a Christmas afternoon tea for us all to share that would be great.

“The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the glory of God and the refreshment of the soul” – J.S. Bach

Featured Artist:
Owen Moriarty

1. Owen has very kindly agreed to play some solo music for us at our final meeting for the year. What he will play will be a surprise. Whenever Owen plays it is always a delight. Thanks very much Owen for your generosity in sharing your skill and talent with us.
Meeting Introduction
2. Clyde will start us off with an introduction simpler piece for all in a group situation. Many thanks to Clyde for the contributions he has made to our group in this area during the year.
Ensemble Recording
3. We have made some nice recording of our ensemble this year. It would be great if we could complete the year with two more recordings. Lets give this a best shot at this meeting.
The pieces we will attempt to record are
a. Hong Dou Ci
b. Bach Prelude 22
c. Please practise as much as you can. But even if you feel confident to play in only one of the pieces – just do that. You can always step out for pieces you don’t feel confident with.
d. Links to the scores are as follows: You can access these and print them out.

I will have spare copies of the music but bring your own if possible.

Members playing:
As usual we will have time for members playing. Either ensembles, duos or solos. And please, it does not have to be “classical” music that you perform. Jazz , pop , folk. And also “own compositions” are very welcome.
