Currently studying a Masters of Music Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Daniel frequently participates in major competitions and has been the recipient of several awards and prizes, including the Classical Guitar Society of Victoria’s ‘Alhambra Sadie Award’ – one of Australia’s most prestigious classical guitar awards. In 2011 Daniel won 1st place representing Australia and New Zealand in the Lions Global Youth Music Competition held in Seattle USA. In September Daniel will be undertaking a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at Eastman School of Music in New York, recently voted number one music institution in the USA.
