Performance—Duo Tapas, Rupa Maitra (violin) and Owen Moriarty (guitar). will perform music with Spanish, Irish and Bosnian elements: Dr. Rupa Maitra, born in Dunedin, completed a degree in violin performance, then studied medicine. She continued to play violin in orchestras when she moved to Wellington and specialised in pathology.  Rupa also completed a Masters’ degree in creative writing at Victoria University in 2014.
