Performance—What the Pluck? came together as students at the NZSM. A stellar line up of Hamish Goodhue, Bruno Guedea, Finn Perring, and Chris Everest.  These guitarists have all played together in various ensembles and decided to combine their very diverse backgrounds to form a mega-quartet and smash out some bangers ranging from Bach to Balkan folk songs:

  • Africa Suite – William Kanengiser (*1959), Mbira
  • 3 Balkan pieces – Andrew Forrest, More Sokol Pie Vyletel Vták Ogûn Gori na Balkana
  • Prelude and Fugue No.22 BWV 867 – J.S. Bach (1685 – 1750) arr. Christopher Everest;
  • Suite Antique – John Rutter (*1945) arr. Christopher Everest, Rondeau
  • Suite Berqamasque – Claude Debussy (1862 – 1918) arr. Christopher Everest, Claire de Lune
  • 3 Bulgarian pieces – Andrew Forrest Dorke Bulgask Bucimis
