If you do not have a piece to fit into that category, any other music will be just fine as well.

 

Last Month

Last month our featured performer was Jamie Garrick. He has just recently won the the New Zealand Classical Guitar competition.

He played with great sensitivity. It was a joy to hear him. What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon listing to such fine music played so well. After the meeting I went home to look for the Bach that was played keen to have a go myself.

We were also very privileged to hear Amber Madriaga play the Bach Gavotte en Rondeau in E major. This was a masterclass setting taken by Lynn McGrath. Such an excellent opportunity to enjoy lovely playing and learn new things about guitar playing. Thanks Jane for arranging this.
