Our next meeting will be held on Sunday 3rd November.
The address is Crossways (upstairs) at 6 Roxburgh Street, Mt Victoria.
The meeting will start at 4.15 pm and finish at 6.30 pm.

The program for this month is:

1. Play in and practise for Christmas concert – where everybody with a guitar can take part in playing in a large group of guitars. We will decide on the pieces for our Christmas concert and let you know. This will be on the 1st December. Please get friends and family prepared to attend. Last years concert was a hoot. This year could be even better! The pieces we will play as a group are –

Please bring a music stand for your music and your footstool. Please also bring your copy of the ensemble music folder if you already have one. If you are new there will also be music for you.

2. There will as always , be an open playing session where anyone can air a piece they have been working on. Be brave. Commit yourself to playing a piece during this section sometime. It could be a solo or an ensemble piece. It can help you progress your playing and give enjoyment to others.

3. Our feature spot for the evening is a featured performer from the NZ School of Music guitar program:-

About Christian

Cristian Huenuqueo Salazar completed an Honours degree in Classical Guitar in Chile before travelling to New Zealand to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Guitar performance at the New Zealand School of Music with Dr Jane Curry. He has participated in concerts, master classes and competitions in Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Thailand and New Zealand.
