This year three awards of $500.00 each are available to support participation in the Nelson Classical Guitar Summer School (11-17 January 2025) Classical Guitar Summer School – Nelson Centre of Musical Arts please note that successful applicants will have an extension of the early bird registration fee.

Applications for an award should be made to the WCGS and sent to Clyde Clemett (president) via email at [email protected] cc secretary Richard Croad [email protected].

Applications are open to any person who plays classical guitar (minimum level grade 3) and is due by 5pm Monday November 25th.

Your application should include:

• contact details – full name, email address, phone number

• Short summary paragraph about your guitar playing experience and why you would like to attend the summer school.

Awards must be used for the purpose stated in the application. If circumstances change and the applicant is unable to attend, the award will need to be returned to the WCGS.
